MWEA Watershed Summit

The Michigan Water Environment Association is hosting its annual Watershed Summit on March 28 at the Eagle Eye Banquet Facility.

The purpose of the summit is to:

  • Bring together as many of Michigan’s watershed groups as possible
  • Provide an opportunity for speakers from other organizations to share information and updates
  • Give groups a chance to interact with and learn from each other
  • Facilitate discussion on current status, concerns and outlooks regarding Michigan’s water environment.

Topics include:

  • Using Technology to Identify Critical Areas in Watersheds
  • Effective Communication with Policy Makers
  • Resources for Invasive Species
  • Factory to Stream Mitigation Process
  • Private Drainage Rights
